The Winix 5500-2 Air Cleaner utilizes a Washable AOCTM Carbon Filter, a 99.97% True HEPA Filter, and Winix PlasmaWave Technology. The True HEPA filter effectively captures airborne pollutants and allergens, while the carbon filter traps offensive smoke, cooking, and other household odors. The PlasmaWave Technology operates at a molecular level to neutralize viruses, bacteria, chemical vapors, odors, and gases in the air.
